How to Apply

You can either choose to study in the U.S. or take classes from overseas!

Click on step 1 below to get started!

After your complete application is received

  • Please maintain a valid email account during the entire application process to enable you to log into your Application Status page and receive updates from the College. If you do not see our emails, please add "@shoreline.edu" to your safe senders list.
  • Application materials will not be returned.
  • Once an application decision has been made, students will receive an Application Status Update email from Shoreline Community College. Admitted students will get a follow-up email with an I-20 form. This I-20 form is the document that you will need to apply for a student visa at the local U.S. Embassy or Consulate.

  • We accept students at all levels of English. If you have taken an English proficiency test you can upload it with your application.

  • Applicants submitting fraudulent documents will be disqualified from receiving an I-20 document and admission as an F-1 student.

  • Admitted students must enroll in and attend Shoreline Community College for their first quarter after arriving in the U.S. If they request to transfer to another school without attending Shoreline, this will result in the termination of their I-20.
