ACE Scholars Program at Shoreline College

ACE Scholars provides international high school students with the opportunity to begin earning college credit while still in high school. Students take online Shoreline College courses taught by college faculty and earn credits that may transfer to colleges and universities throughout the United States.

Applying to the ACE Scholars Program is simple. Follow the steps below to begin earning transferable U.S. college credit while still in high school.

1. Complete the ACE Scholars Application
   Submit the online application and required application fee.
2. Upload Required Documents
   Submit your academic transcripts, English proficiency documentation (if applicable), recommendation letter, and personal statement.
3. Complete Placement Testing
   Students enrolling in mathematics may be required to complete the ALEKS Math Placement Assessment.
4. Register for Classes
   Work with Shoreline's International Education team to register for your courses.
5. Begin Your College Journey
   Attend orientation and begin earning college credit online.

To participate in the ACE Scholars Program, students should:

• Be currently enrolled in Grades 10–12.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance.
• Meet Shoreline's English proficiency requirements (if applicable).
• Submit all required application materials.
• Be prepared for college-level coursework.

ACE Scholars provides an affordable opportunity for students to begin their university education while saving significantly compared with many four-year institutions.
